Company History

Vita Nova Films is a feature film production company with offices in Newcastle upon Tyne and Sheffield, in the North of England led by Award Winning Producers, Steve Bowden and Grant Keir.

Managing Director, Steve Bowden, has developed, line produced and produced feature films beginning in 1999 with Nasty Neighbours, the feature film debut of director Debbie Isitt (Confetti), and more recently with Sue Heel's debut feature School for Seduction and Janos Edelenyi¹s comeback movie, Prima Primavera.

Grant Keir produced and co-wrote the award winning short film Relativity (Best Short Film, Prix UIP Berlin) and Deep Freeze. His latest short, Point Annihilation, is one of the first films to be available for download via i-Tunes.

Both producers are graduates of EAVE, the European Audio Visual Entrepreneurs professional producer training programme, and have proven themselves proficient at developing writing and directing talent. Through their extensive knowledge of script development and close relationships with key talent, Vita Nova Films will breath 'new life' into the UK film sector and become a key partner for those looking to make quality feature films in North of England, across Europe and beyond.
